Seth and Katie Foster make Foster's Fitness center a place where you'll see that “getting and staying in shape doesn't have to be a grueling - it is fun!” You'll have 24/7 key access to their center that has workout space, some of the latest equipment, as well as Shorin-ryu classes for guys and gals. In addition to their incredibly reasonable monthly rate following your free one week trial, the gym has visitor-friendly daily drop-in rates.
You tailor-make your workout to your fitness goals. Katie, an ACE certified personal trainer, can assess what you need for a healthier you, set you up with a program, and will be there with the encouragement you need to achieve it. Build tone and strength with free weights, power racks, kettle bells, and plyometric boxes. Improve and maintain cardio fitness using the elliptical, treadmill, recumbent bike, rowing machine and their Total Gym. There's plenty of space for floor exercises and stretching. In addition, one room is setup for circuit training - giving you a total body workout in 36 minutes.
Seth teaches the Shorin-ryu classes. Shorin-ryu ia traditional Okinawan karate which he calls “real life self-defense fighting techniques.” It's fun, teaches discipline, and will definitely get you in shape. He offers classes for all levels from Kidarate (4 & 5 years old) through advanced students. He has been involved in the martial arts for over 30 years and is a well-respected sensei (teacher) who shows the same respect to his students. Classes are Tues from 5:00-7:00 and Thurs from 4:00-7:00. Call 406-297-7822 for the schedules.
