Long Rider Bernice Ende
Long rider Bernice Ende first began traveling around the west on thousand mile trips with her horses and dog, Claire, back in 2005. So many miles in that saddle through Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Minnesota, Texas, Colorado and more across the Rockies and along the Pacific. Some winters she stayed in eastern Montana and other years she came back to the Tobacco Valley to winter.
Growing Businesses in our Town
In might be the middle of winter and everything looks a bit dreary but there are still things a movin' and a shakin' in the Tobacco Valley.
Main Street Variety is expanding into a new space directly across from Montana Market.
Robbie Burns Dinner
What do a restaurant, a brewery and a nonprofit have in common? Here in Eureka, the answer is a Robert Burns Dinner! Four Corners Restaurant, HA) Brewery and Sunburst Community Service Foundation have joined forces to put on a birthday tribute to Robert Burns with everything one might expect including bagpipers and haggis.
Eagle Scouts of Eureka
Becoming an Eagle Scout is no easy feat. Less than seven percent of all Boy Scouts ever achieve this. It takes years really because the individual needs to progress through the Boy Scout ranks, earn many badges, serve as a troop leader and do a major community project. Derek Hickman did all of this (and more).
