Eureka Montana Quilt Show

A New Vineyard in Eureka

Mike and Teresa Dechart had a dream. They had lived in Eureka, Montana since 1985 working different sorts of jobs the way one does in this part of the world. Now the climate in Eureka might not be considered comparable to the Loire Valley or Napa, California by most people.

Bike the US for MS

Bike the US for MS comes through Eureka

When you see a lot of touring bicycles in the Tobacco Valley you know it's summertime. They sport brightly-colored clothes, those unmistakable shorts, areodynamic hats, and their bikes are laden with camping gear. Why do they brave the elements on a long biking trek? Different reasons. Some just want to slow down and see the country up close. Others really enjoy long bike rides.

Eureka Montana Quilt Show

Eureka Montana Quilt Show

August 1st was a remarkable day in the Tobacco Valley. If you were one of our early risers, thank you for coming to town around 6:30am to watch and be a part of quilts being hung all along Dewey Ave, in Memorial Park and at the Historical Village. Over 600 beautiful quilts were part of this year's annual Eureka Montana Quilt Show!

Tobacco Valley Rodeo

Tobacco Valley Rodeo

This year's spectacular Tobacco Valley Rodeo started at 8:00pm both Friday and Saturday (July 24-25) at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds. Folks of all ages came out a bit early to get a good seat and enjoy the food and drinks that were available. We then settled back for some great rodeo entertainment.
