Kootenai Valley Rangers Baseball Fundraiser
The Kootenai Valley Rangers baseball team has been a force for the past 20 years in the Tobacco Valley. They can start early with Little League, but there are no high school baseball teams in Montana. The KV Rangers gives our boys, ages 15-18, an opportunity to play ball!
Their annual fundraiser is at Rexford's Frontier Bar on Sat. March 19. Dinner starts around 5:00, auction begins at 6:00, and the festivities continue into the night.
Friends of the NRA Banquet
The Tobacco Valley Friends of the NRA will have their annual fundraising banquet on March 12 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds starting at 5:30pm. Tickets are $30/person which includes a full prime rib dinner catered by the Point of Rocks. Only three hundred tickets are available for this event and they go quickly. Tammy Owen reports they always sell out for this annual banquet so people should buy tickets soon.
The Hideout Buffalo Guest Ranch
Buffalo are majestic creatures with their larger than life presence and the thundering sound when running across open plains. It isn't a surprise that Christine and Jim Gibson became enchanted with the idea of starting a buffalo ranch in Montana when they moved here in 2002. And what better place than on a 300-acre spread in the Tobacco Valley?
Friends of the Shelter Winter Warmer
Saturday, Feb. 27, Lincoln County Fairgrounds, 5:00 - 9:30 pm
If you have not had the pleasure of stopping by the Tobacco Valley Animal Shelter to sit in the cat room playing with those cute kittens or taking one of the dogs for a walk, you are missing out. This is definitely an activity that will make you feel good, very good. And it is available to you every day of the year except Sundays from 1:00 - 4:00pm.
