Stand Up Paddle boarding is one of the fastest growing watercraft sports in the nation! There is no limit to age, anyone can learn paddle boarding. There is even adaptation boards for wheel chairs. SUP'ing not only gives you the freedom to explore the waters but it is also one of the best total core workouts.
Montana fell in love with Stand Up Paddle (SUP) boarding back in 2014 and wants you to have that same experience. She re-purposed some pallets and pieces of old buildings to create her Wa-SUPShack which is open Wed. through Sun., 10:30am – 7:00pm during the summer. The Shack may be closed on days of inclement weather, but they'll be waiting for you when the summer sun is calling you out to the lake. Feel free to call after hours to arrange a rental or SUP lesson.
She has a variety of water crafts that you can rent or buy. Her passion is the Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board, the ISUP. They’re incredibly durable and are easy to pack, haul and store. “It's a fun way to get and stay in shape while enjoying our gorgeous lakes and rivers.” If you've never been on an ISUP Montana offers a beginner's lesson that will send you to the water with confidence. You can also choose a kayak or floating tube, if that tickles your fancy. Rentals are available for half or full days and there are overnight and weekly rates. For your convenience, shuttle service is available in the Eureka vicinity. Find them on Facebook for prices and more information about Paddle Boarding and workshops that Montana conducts over the summer.
Head on out to the Wa-SUP shack and then go enjoy the serenity of floating the pristine waters of our Tobacco Valley. Let them put a little Funshine in your Sunshine!
