Sunburst began as a grassroots nonprofit in Eureka in 1995. Today it serves eight locations in western Montana communities with a cadre of staff and volunteers. Providing mental health services, family support, arts and education, Sunburst strives to make communities healthy and vibrant places to live. In the Tobacco Valley, we bring in the annual Performing Arts Series, Shakespeare in the Park, Missoula Children’s Theater and Montana Repertory Theater. Sunburst also arranges for artists residencies in local schools, helps to maintain the Kootenai Rails-to-Trails and organizes community square dances. You can find a Sunburst booth at the Eureka Farmers Market featuring live music and at the Lincoln County Fair. Individualized mental health services are provided through our Eureka Sunburst office as well as support for families including reunification, supervised visitations and parenting classes.
