3rd Annual Ten Lakes Snowmobile Club Charity Fun Run

UPDATE: 3rd Annual Ten Lakes Snowmobile Club Charity Fun Run

UPDATE: The day was warmer than last year....so much so that it drizzled and the snow off of the groomed trail was super heavy and wet. HOWEVER......despite that...spirits were not damp. A grand time was had by all. And - they raised more money for charity than they have ever done before! Way to go Ten Lakes S.C. and participants!!

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Great snowmobiling and great family fun! The Ten Lakes Snowmobile Club will be hosting it’s annual charity Fun Run on Saturday, February 7th. Come preregister during the Before the Run Party at Trapper's Saloon on Friday starting at 5:00 pm. Or show-up Saturday morning with your friends, family, and sleds at the Flanagan property ½ mile up Grave Crk Rd on Sat.....registration starts at 8:00 am

The ride begins at the Birch Creek recreation area - near the 7 mile marker on the Grave Crk road. Breakfast is available there at very reasonable prices. 21 miles of Rocky Mountain winter splendor accompany the riders as they head up the Grave Crk road to the Horsecamp parking area (just past Little Therriault Lake). A free hotdog & chili lunch awaits the participants - with a bon fire of course! After lunch, they ride back to their rigs and then head over to Jerry's Saloon in Fortine. Non-riders are also welcome to the “After” Party....starting around 6:00 p.m. There will be poker hand card draws, raffle prize giveaways, and much merry-making. Cash prizes will be awarded for the winning poker hands, with $500 for the top hand.

One half of the receipts generated by the Fun Run will be donated to non-profit organizations in the Tobacco Valley including; Can-Am Search & Rescue, The Tobacco Valley Food Pantry, Eureka Senior Center, and others.
